After good qualifying test days and a P3 lap time in qualifying, we knew that the race would be hard with our championship rivals, the Hungaroring racetrack not fitting our #188 Audi RS3 LMS TCR.
Despite a P4 in TCR class after the two first hours of race, the two drivers of the AC Motorsport prepared car Stephane Perrin and Mathieu Detry crossed the finish line at the second position in TCR/TCE class, P8 overall. We suffered for a little lack of pace which cost us the victory despite good strategy and good pitstops.
Hopes for 24H Series championship tittle are still allowed because our main rival finished third. The Sebring 24H race will be the championship decider and we know everything can happen there!
