After the two very positive days of testing last week on the 🇸🇪 Gelleråsen, Karlskoga racetrack; the two free practice sessions were difficult, we cannot manage to run decent lap times due to tire strategy with regulations. All the focus was then put on the qualification session with no other way to push.
The driver of the #32 VW Golf TCR Lestrup Racing Team gave it all and set a beautiful P7 lap time in Q1, following by another P7 Q2 for the first time we have been in this session!
Even if Robin missed his start at the beginning of race 2, he was able to drive to the finish line of the three races, with a strong and very fast race pace following the front contenders, amazing overtakes and great fighting spirit. We ended up P5, P10 and P6 in the last race.
This is a brilliant result well derserved with all the work done since the beginning of the season. Congrats to Robin and thanks to the Lestrup Team for the good job and for their trust!
