🌊 Weather forecast for the next week was very bad for the round 5 of the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux held in Austria. Lot of rain made the things complicated during all the weekend with difficult conditions on track with rivers and aquaplaning.
⏯ Benjamin Paque struggled with the balance of the car in the test day and in the two free practices sessions. The only dry run was in qualifications in which the Belgian driver of the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup ⚫️⚪️ #92 scored two pole positions with two 💥 stunning laps!
⚙️🔩 The team worked hard to prepare the two races, but solutions were hard to find with the level of 🌧 standing water on the track. After a red flag half race 1 finished in P1️⃣0️⃣, Benjamin fought hard in a drying race 2 and stayed in the battle for the Driver title championship with a 🥉 3rd position finished, 0,1 tenth of P2.
🎯 Final round of the championship will be in Circuit Zolder mid October, the team DLP will give it all!
