The final round of the 2023 Kronos Fun Cup championship took place this past weekend at the Circuit Zolder in Belgium. Already champions in the team category, the goal for the three fast guys Raphaël Bolle Debal, Ralph Pierard and Benoît Arnaudet, was to improve the settings of the car and their driving style to prepare next year and to try to catch the pace of the 🔝 top cars of the field.
With a shortened qualification session for the 🟠🔵⚪️ #487 beetle due a small technical problem 🔧 quickly fixed by the AC Motorsport team, the lineup lapped 13th quickest of the huge field of 55 cars. Ralph took the start and was unfortunately stucked in the gravel bed in the second corner of the race to avoid a collision in front of him... Being two laps down and P5️⃣4️⃣, they faultless drove with a strong pace the 8 hours race to the P8️⃣ overall, only 7 seconds from the first place in the Pure category! 👏 An incredible comeback in the top of the classification in this eventful event with a lot of 🐞 trafic on track which prove they deserve 💯 the Pure category champion title! Congrats also to the other cars of the team well driven and prepared!
