The 2023 Kronos Fun Cup championship visited a new racetrack for its fourth meeting, and what a track! The Circuit de Charade located in the ⛰ french mountains promised to be very technical and awesome to drive with not a lot of space for mistakes!
The #487 🐞 beetle of AC Motorsport had a good testday on Thursday to discover this area. We focused on ⚙️ setup and drivers pace. Benoît Arnaudet needed to let drive his two co-drivers, Ralph Pierard and Raphaël Bolle Debal due to injury. Qualified in P11 overall and P1 in the PURE category, we knew we had a strong package to win the class and maybe to do a good overall result 📝. Drivers and team needed to focus to not do any mistake and to stay in contact with the leaders.
🔝 And we have done it! After P3️⃣ at the 4 hours race break, we did a flawless race despite managing a high temperature water due to 🔥 hot conditions. The drivers crossed the 🏁 finish line in an awesome P2 overall and 🏆 won the PURE category, first win of the season! 🎊 Brilliant performance for the two young guys.
