Circuit Zandvoort hosted the third round of the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux this past weekend of June. Benjamin Paque was back in the #92 ⚫️🟡🔴 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup in the Netherlands dunes 🏖.
After very good feeling in the car during the afternoon Tuesday test, the AUGUST by NGT driver was directly in the game in the only one session of free practice on Friday. We already thought performance 🔮 was there to make something great...
And the young belgian guy did it! He pushed hard 🚗💨 to set a the best lap time with his second set of new tires in the qualification session and scored his first ever ☄️ pole position in a Porsche Carrera Cup championship! 🎉 What an achievement in a so competitive field!
He then finished in P9️⃣ in a first eventful race. After starting in the front row in the second one, Benjamin stayed focus until the end of the 🚩 red flagged fight and obtained a well deserved podium by standing on the 🥈 second step.
Strong weekend for the crew as we maintained our 🔝 first position in the Teams standing and sister car #15 driver of Glenn Van Parijs still fight for the championship lead.
